Armed Man Arrested, Sheppard Air Force Base On Lock Dow

(Wichita Falls, TX) -- An armed man has forced Sheppard Air Force Base into lock-down early this morning.
George Woodward, Sheppard's Public Information Officer, says police stopped a man carrying a shotgun on base late last night. No shots were fired nor were any hostages taken. Woodward says all airmen have been accounted for but Sheppard continues to operate under lock down until further notice.
