| Leach In Lubbock Court on Friday By: Dave Walker Former Texas Tech Head Football Coach Mike Leach will be in Lubbock this Friday for a deposition. Leach, who currently is living with his family in Key West, Florida, is set for oral and video depositions beginning Friday morning at the offices of his Lubbock attorney, Ted Liggett. Liggett did not immediately return a call seeking comment. Chancellor Kent Hance fired Leach last December, just two days after suspending him for alleged mistreatment of Adam James, at Red Raider receiver. Leach has denied the allegations. Meanwhile, Leach's attorneys have subpoenaed documents from Frenship Independent School District. They are seeking any correspondence between F.I.S.D. and Texas Tech University and/or Tech's new head football coach, Tommy Tuberville. Court documents imply that Leach's legal team is especially interested in any conversations about enrolling members of the Tuberville family in the school district. Judge Bill Sowder scheduled a hearing into this matter for March 26, 2010.
